Abstract

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the emergence of various artificial intelligence (AI) applications has heralded a new era of digital platforms, significantly distinct from the previously used educational e-platforms. AI platforms are promising and effective, but they also raise concerns regarding their potential impacts, particularly on teachers. These concerns include selecting appropriate AI tools, integrating them into real-world teaching and learning processes, and utilizing them for assessment. Given the benefits of employing AI platforms in language teaching and learning, it becomes essential to address these concerns and resolve the associated issues by selecting software that aligns with teaching and learning objectives and ensuring its application in real-life scenarios. This study highlights the importance of encouraging educators to employ AI applications in teaching and learning languages. It is a descriptive study that focuses on the QuestionWell.org software as an AI application model, enabling teachers and educators to take advantage of AI in language teaching and learning, in both theory and practice.
